Further Thoughts on an Energy Shift and 2012

Published by madrigalblue at 3:14 am under Personal Pagan Reflections Edit This

earthBack in January, I wrote about paganism and 2012. Jen of Your Dark Passenger commented on empaths reporting a shift of energy–some feeling negative energy followed by positive energy.

This prompted me to speak about something that happened to me back in 2005.

I worked in an office complex next to a major international airport. I was sitting there with five or six coworkers when I experienced this sudden shift. It was like an earthquake was happening, but the earth wasn’t shaking. I realized it was internal and something the others didn’t feel, with exception of the woman sitting across from me. She didn’t want to talk about it more and I understand why–it was a frightening experience, and she has different spiritual beliefs than I do.

Despite the fact that I am spiritually exploratory, I tried to forget the experience, too. I mean it was right next to an airport. High EMFs would not be amiss in such a setting. However, the mix of energy was something I hadn’t felt before. The woman and I both agreed that it felt like “a shift.”

It was (and is) too monumental for me to understand. That’s just what I felt and I wanted to throw that out there. What do you think?

Hmm…the fact that you experience a shift 7 years prior to the speculated 2012 shift could be significant.

In fact, there may have been a mass shift felt by many in 2005, but I was way too self-involved and stressed out back then to notice anything besides the work I had to do. I’d be interested to know if any of your readers felt anything in 2005.

    Wonder if mind did…
