		<description>Thanks for your comment. I definitely feel like my spiritual search was actually assisted by my interests and upbringing rather than the other way around, and Star Trek was definitely something that drew me in at a young age.

		<description>Although not really related to paganism, I do notice a general philosophical, political and religious trend among Next Generation Star Trek fans. Gene Roddenberry was a noted secular humanist, and his beliefs were quite evident in TNG. I am honestly surprised when, on those rare occasions, I run into a hard core Christian or conservative who is also a TNG fan.</description>
